Trauma is a response, not your identity. Often times, those that have been traumatized are hesitant with sharing due to the fear of retraumatizing themselves. We are sitting down with Casandra Merritt as she provides key points to implement in order to overcome adversity when writing about trauma, and encourages self-care, progress, and healing. 

More About Casandra Merritt:

CEO and Owner of Start Fresh Counseling Center in Brandon, Florida, and Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor. She is a practicing Christian family Therapist and serves as an Assistant Pastor at her local church. She conducts training, hosts, and speaks at various conferences. She has been honored as a Trademark, Women of Distinction Honors Edition. Her assignment on earth is to make known Jesus Christ’s mystery of man’s will and integrate Mental Health Counseling that uncovers one’s true potential and leads a life worth celebrating.
